most of my contribution to these projects has been through concept art, mood boarding, editing, producton design, and more. here is a look at what it took to make these short films.

Rotten Eden

Since my film is set in the 80's, i wanted to try an 80's film poster style for my poster, inspired by Bo Kev, and Drew Struzan's pieces, as shown on the right. i was inspired by the use of lighting and shadows, and how these posters have a particular glow to them. i used contrasting colours, and soft blends to try to replicate these styles for my own poster.

the above video is some concept art for the first zombie you see in our film. i wanted her to look like she had just turned, with curlers still in her hair. below is a collection of my moodboards throughout the preproduction process.

Do you believe in magic?

Here is a timelalapse of me animating over my footage on Procreate. all of my shots where filmed on the DJI osmo pocket 3, and where later turned black and white in editing for a vintage effect. i used a crayon looking brush in procreate to make the animation feel more hand drawn and rough.
