this short solo film was inspired by the feeling of escapism through childhood imagination. it follows a girl as a she becomes absorbed in a Disney comic, using hand drawn elements over top of the footage to bring the world of the comic to life. Set against "do you believe in magic?" by the Lovin' Spoonful, the film contrasts the simple imaginative escape of reading comics and indulging in the vintage aesthetic all together, with the constant presence of phones and screens in todays generation. its a celebration of magic and physical stories, showing that sometimes the best escape can come from simply putting down a screen and getting lost in a story.
Rotten Eden is an 80s- inspired zombie short film following four teenage girls as they navigate a world beginning to be over-run by infected people. Blending retro colour grading and nostalgic music, and a fun 80s aesthetic with the tension of a zombie outbreak, the film focuses on friendship, adventure, and survival. rather than following the typical story of heroes saving the world, Rotten Eden keeps its focus on the girls and their relationships as they face the consequences of the outbreak.

Ive always loved to document our family trips since i was young, up until recently i saved up for a 4k mini gimbal camera, the osmo pocket 3. This year we went on a trip to Tasmania, and so i wanted a proper camera to film our trip. Here is a collection of shots i took while we stayed in the snow.
